Alchimex turns Zcash into Monero in one batch: one deposit address, one fixed formula, one batch number to follow it.
A plain coin-to-coin batch: deposit on Zcash mainnet, delivery on Monero mainnet, and the formula between them is held for the whole batch.
Once the deposit confirms on Zcash, distillation starts and the XMR lands in your flask without any further action on your side.
The process
Enter how much Zcash you pour and the XMR address the distillate goes to. The estimate updates before you commit.
Send exactly that dose from any wallet to the deposit address, on Zcash mainnet. The furnace lights at the first confirmation (2–6 confirmations (3–8 min)).
The lab distills and delivers to your flask on Monero mainnet. About 23 minutes end to end, confirmations included.
The pair
Formula and minimum refresh every few minutes from the live route. The binding formula is the one engraved when you start a batch.
About 23 minutes for the median batch. Most of it is waiting for 2–6 confirmations (3–8 min) on Zcash; the delivery on Monero is quick once distillation starts.
About 0.02 ZEC (about $20) at today's prices. Below that, network fees would eat the distillate, so the batch pauses until you top up or ask for a return.
Yes. The expected XMR output is engraved when you seal the batch and holds until the expiry shown on the deposit page. A deposit that arrives after expiry is handled at the live formula or returned, and you are told which.
No. There is no account, no email and no identity check. The batch number you receive is the only way to find the batch again, so keep it.
Any XMR address you control on Monero mainnet, including an exchange deposit address. Double-check it: the lab cannot recall a distillate once it is sent.
The deposit address listens on Zcash mainnet only. Tokens sent on another chain are not seen by the athanor; some can be recovered by a technician for a handling fee, many cannot. When in doubt, send a small test dose first.
